Kikao is a volunteer movement dedicated to fostering community, leadership, and accountability in Kenya. Rooted in the spirit of meaningful dialogue and consensus-building, Kikao was born out of the transformative Reject Finance Bill 2024 protests—an organic, leaderless, and peaceful movement that reshaped civic engagement in Kenya. In response to the tragic loss of young lives, including Rex Masai, Kikao stands as a unifying force for progressive Kenyans committed to transparent and accountable leadership.
We developed a digital platform that reflects Kikao’s mission, serving as a space for education, collaboration, and activism. The website features a structured resource hub, interactive forums for civic engagement, and a volunteer sign-up system to encourage participation. With a clean, mobile-friendly design and optimized functionality, the platform empowers everyday citizens to become leaders today, fostering a new era of informed and active citizenship in Kenya.
